Marlborough - The home of Thornbury's Sauvignon Blanc

Marlborough is New Zealand’s flagship winegrowing region. It is blessed with a cool climate as well as long, warm summer days and free-draining soils.

The grapes for our Thornbury Sauvignon Blanc are selected from across the two key areas: the Wairau and Awatere Valleys.

A great way to experience the beautiful Marlborough wine region is to do a wine tour by bike. You can hire bikes with bottle carriers and organise accommodation pick-up and drop-off.

Other great places to visit in this region are the Marlborough Sounds and Picton- where you can enjoy walking the spectacular Queen Charlotte track.
