Waipara

Waipara in the Canterbury region is known for New Zealand Riesling and Pinot Gris. Thornbury's vineyards are north facing, moderately sloping terrain, ideal for trapping the sun.

The soil, consisting of gravely deposits and limestone derived clays imparts a range of characters and complexity to our Riesling and Pinot Gris.
